The official trailer for the film "PROJECT Y" (directed by Lee Hwan, scheduled for release on January 23, 2026), starring Korean actors Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo, was released on December 19th.
The film tells the story of two women, Mi-seon (played by Han So-hee) and Do-kyung (played by Jeon Jong-seo), who steal a hidden gold bar in order to escape their miserable lives.
Mi-sun and Do-kyung work hard in downtown Seoul, scraping together cash to survive day to day. Dreaming of a normal life, the pair are on the brink of achieving their goal of taking over the flower shop where they work as the first step. However, just as their dream is about to come true, they discover they have been deceived by someone, and everything falls apart. As they are cornered, they learn that CEO Do (Kim Sung-cheol), who controls the city, has hidden a large sum of money somewhere near Seoul. Faced with a huge opportunity to make it big, the pair embark on a risky gamble that could put their lives on the line...
