On September 12th, actress Kasumi Arimura appeared in a black dress with a plunging neckline at the opening day stage greeting for the film "Black Showman" (directed by Ryo Tanaka), starring Masaharu Fukuyama, which was held in Tokyo.

In reference to the mystery work in which "everyone is lying," Arimura was asked about a "small lie she recently told." She revealed, "I was in a taxi recently, and the driver asked me if I was a celebrity, and I said, 'No,' and he just said, 'Oh, I see,' and that was the end of it." Lead actor Fukuyama surprised everyone by saying, "I tell small lies every day." Okazaki Sae, Ito Atsushi, Namase Katsuhisa, and director Tanaka also appeared on stage to greet the audience.

The film is based on a novel by Higashino Keigo. Former junior high school teacher Kamio Eiichi (Nakamura Toru) is murdered by an unknown assailant. His daughter, Kamio Mayo (Arimura), who was due to be married in two months, receives the sudden news of his death and returns to her hometown. Wanting to know the truth about why Eiichi was killed, Mayo is visited by her uncle, Kamio Takeshi (Fukuyama). Armed with his exceptional magic tricks, his wicked sleight of hand, and his mentalist-level skill in people observation and leading questions, Mayo takes on the mystery of the murder... this is the story.
