Spoilers for the final episode of the drama "Ubai Ai, Manatsu"

The final episode of the drama series " Ubai Ai, Manatsu " (TV Asahi, Friday 11:15pm, excluding some areas), starring actress Marika Matsumoto , was broadcast on September 12th.

The script was written by Osamu Suzuki. The story depicts a sensual and heart-pounding drama in which Umino Manatsu (played by Matsumoto) falls in forbidden love with Sorachi Taimu (played by Ken Yasuda Ken), a married company president who looks just like her ex-boyfriend.

Every time Manatsu has been cornered, she has tried to time leap and start her life over again using the power of a watch given to her by her mother, Miko (Mizuno Miki). However, time leaping comes with a terrible price: "something precious will be taken away."

Including the time leap of Tokimu's wife, Mirai (Maryjun Takahashi), the episode was used four times in the final episode, and in the final episode, a hellish final battle unfolded in which Mirai, who holds a grudge against Manatsu, and former council member Sakikawa (Katase Rino) put the life of not only Manatsu herself but also that of Tokimu, who is important to her.

Then, Motoya (Alan Shirahama), a stalker who truly wishes happiness for Manatsu, is killed while protecting Tokimu from Sakikawa, who charges at her with a knife. In an attempt to keep Motoya alive, Manatsu performs a desperate fifth time leap. As a result, she loses her hearing.

Trapped in a silent world, Manatsu closes her heart, but Tokimu tells her of his eternal love and his resolve. Manatsu reciprocates his feelings. Together with Tokimu, they decide never to turn back, and together they begin to mark the passage of time towards a new future.
