Actor Kanna Hashimoto appeared on stage to greet viewers at the opening ceremony for the latest installment of the horror film "Body Search," "Body Search THE LAST NIGHT" (directed by Eiichiro Hasumi), in which she plays the lead role, held in Tokyo on September 6th. There was a moment when Hashimoto guessed the surprise prepared for the cast, causing the audience to erupt in excitement for a different reason.
When the MC said, "We have a surprise to commemorate the release of the movie," Director Hasumi headed off to prepare, and while the remaining cast members on stage were flying around speculating, Hashimoto jokingly predicted, "The 'red man' (who appears in the movie) will appear again anyway."Fuku Suzuki Fuku retorted, "Don't say 'whatever'! If that's really the case, I'll be in trouble (laughs). Besides, even if I thought it was (the red man), I tried not to say it," to which Hashimoto replied, "You're right. I said it! I'm sorry if that's really the case," while also taking precautions.
Afterwards, a man in red appeared with Director Hasumi, drawing laughter from the audience. After receiving a bouquet from the man in red, Hashimoto leaned back as she accepted it. When the MC said, "Hashimoto, that was a great decision," Hashimoto profusely apologized, saying, "I'm sorry...!"
When asked again about her thoughts on the surprise performance, Hashimoto began by saying, "I could never have imagined it," which elicited loud laughter from the audience. Hashimoto continued, "I'm surprised that the person in red would give me flowers (laughs). I'm so sorry to the public relations person," which further livened up the unexpected situation.
