Actress Atsuko Maeda appeared at the new CM launch event for the facial beauty device "MiRAY ONE" held in Tokyo on June 10. When asked about an episode she would like to wash away, in reference to the device's ion cleansing function, she replied, "Something that recently made me blush," and shared an episode about her eldest son, who has just started elementary school.
He said that his eldest son has become aware of his work in the entertainment industry, and added with a wry smile, "When I go to the shop with him, he often goes up to the store clerk and says, 'Do you know Maeda Atsuko? She's my mom, isn't she?' (laughs). I feel embarrassed every time and have to say I'm so sorry."
