The seventh episode of the TV Asahi drama series "My Cheating Husband with 3 Months to Live" (Fridays at 11:15 PM, excluding some regions), starring actor Jin Shirasu, will air on June 5th.
Mizuki (Hinako Sakurai), the unfaithful wife, has enlisted the help of her father-in-law, Tatsuo (Kazuhiko Nishimura), in order to inherit everything from Aoi Kosaka (Shirasu), who has been given a terminal diagnosis.
One day, while Mizuki is staying at Tatsuo's house, her mother, Ayami Kano (Mariko Tsutsui), shows up unannounced. Tatsuo is stunned to learn that Mizuki's mother, whom he had been told was dead, is alive and declares that she will be living there from today. Unable to tolerate Ayami's brazen and unreasonable behavior any longer, he contacts his wife, Keiko (Yuki Funaki), who has run away from home, but is quickly rejected.
Meanwhile, a video streamer who exposes wrongdoing spreads information about Mizuki's affair and her wicked scheme to collect insurance money. The repercussions of the continuing spread of the video are significant, and Aoi is also bewildered as she becomes the subject of rumors at work. Furthermore, Kenji Sunayama (Mitsunori Takahashi) is also facing a barrage of criticism, with complaints coming in from clients. Frustrated by the worst-case scenario, Kenji angrily pushes Mizuki away when she comes to see him. Mizuki becomes confused about Kenji's true intentions and is overcome with anxiety. Convinced that Mizuki is being taken advantage of, Ayami sets her sights on Kenji as her new target and begins to work to eliminate him in order to claim all the insurance money for herself.
Meanwhile, Aoi goes through the "bucket list" she made with her son, Ren (played by Koshirou Ono). First, at Keiko's suggestion, she goes to buy a school bag for Ren, but she can't stop crying at the thought of whether she'll ever get to see Ren as an elementary school student.
Then came the day of the company competition for the station front redevelopment project. Iwasaki (Kohei Shoji) was busy preparing at the venue, but even as the start time approached, Aoi did not appear. Then Mari (Yua Shinkawa) contacted him to say that Aoi had collapsed and been rushed to the hospital...
