It has been announced that Kosuke Goto and Takekora will be joining the cast of the second season of the TV anime "Magilumiere Co. Ltd.," which is based on a manga serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+." Goto will play Director Koshigaya, Hitomi Koshigaya's father and head of the administrative agency, the Magic Energy Agency, while Takekora will play Director Manda of the independent administrative agency, the Institute for Magical Technology.
Goto commented, "Yes, he is the complete opposite of myself. He is dignified and strict, and I felt that he had thought more thoroughly about the social structure involving magical girls in this world than anyone else. Director Koshigaya is unwavering! "Magilumiere Co. Ltd." is an action manga about work and magical girls, written by Yukika Iwata and illustrated by Yu Aoki. Set in a world where natural disasters called "anomalies" exist and magical girls who fight them are recognized as a dream job, the story follows the protagonist, Kana Sakuragi, as she joins the venture company Magical Magilumiere Co. Ltd. as a new graduate and struggles to balance her work as a working adult and a magical girl. The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2024. The second season will be broadcast nationwide on Nippon Television Network starting July 4th.
