Kazunari Ninomiya attended the "Nomura Real Estate Solutions New Brand Strategy & New Commercial Announcement" held in Tokyo on June 3rd. Making his first public appearance since the group's disbandment, Ninomiya reflected on Arashi's final live concert held at Tokyo Dome (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) on May 31st.
When asked about his current feelings, Ninomiya said with a relieved expression, "We all had our last concert on May 31st, and the five of us had always talked about wanting to wrap things up with the five of us until the very end, so I'm glad that we were able to do that successfully. So many people watched and listened to both the concert and the online stream, and I felt like we were able to have a grand finale."
On June 1st, the day after the live performance, he said, "When I went out into town, many people said to me, 'Thank you for your hard work,' and that's when I really felt it. I thought, 'Wow, so many people are watching us.'" He savored the joy and laughed, "There are quite a few celebrities in my neighborhood... Since I had the day off, I went shopping and bought some necessities, and I ran into Aiba-kun. He said, 'You're here!'"
She continued, "Although the group's activities have come to an end for now, it gave me a sense of relief to know that they are still close to me, including in my daily life." She added, "I realized how fortunate I am to receive such kind words from everyone. So many people have said 'thank you for your hard work.' I want to continue working hard from here on out, so that this is not the end of it."
The new commercial featuring Ninomiya, titled "The Awakening of Kazuya Nomura," will begin airing on June 4th.
