The sixth episode of the TV Asahi drama series "The Cheated Husband with 3 Months to Live" (Fridays at 11:15 PM, excluding some regions), starring actor Jin Shirasu, aired on May 29th.
Aoi (Shirasu) and Mizuki (Sakurai Hinako) decide to have a direct confrontation, with Aoi saying, "I want a divorce," and Mizuki, without any remorse, begins to lie, saying, "Give Ren back. You kept accusing me of cheating on you for no reason and emotionally abusing me and Ren every day."
Furthermore, Mizuki explained that she was working at the club because "Aoi wasn't bringing money home." She continued to lie, saying, "It was financial harassment. I had no choice but to work at the club to protect Ren. Why are you trying to take Ren away from me like that?"
Then Mizuki stopped recording on the voice recorder she had brought with her and, with a burst of emotion, declared, "Ken-chan is the only one who can give me true happiness. So, even if my mouth were to split open, I would never say that my marriage to Aoi-kun was happy. Ken-chan is getting a divorce for my sake! So I will do anything for Ken-chan!"
When Aoi asks, "Can I kill you?", the pain from his cancer intensifies. Mizuki replies, "Yes. If Aoi dies like this, Ren will automatically come to me. If I get 100 million yen, I'll put him in an institution. If you want him, I can give him to Aoi's kind parents," revealing that she has no feelings for her child.
Mizuki continued, "Aoi... I knew you were recording all along. Secretly filming again? You're so careless. I'll delete the video right now. I'll delete it from the cloud too, so don't worry," and she picked up Aoi's phone... and to her surprise, the screen displayed a live stream. Shaken, Mizuki exclaimed, "What is this!" and hurried away.
