Actress Yoshino Kimura and professional figure skater Mao Asada attended the "ARSOA" brand renewal and new product launch event held in Tokyo on May 27th. The two, who serve as brand muses, shared their first impressions of each other.
The first time they met was at an event for the brand held in 2023. Kimura recalled, "I've been supporting Mao since I was a teenager. I was nervous but happy to be able to meet her. I got her autograph and we took a commemorative photo together, and I bragged about it to my family." She added, "On the ice, she has an incredible aura and is very powerful, but the Mao I met in person was graceful and kind."
Asada said, "I've always seen her on TV, so it didn't feel like the first time we met. She's so beautiful, I was very nervous." She also shared her impression of Asada, saying, "She's always as bright as the sun, and she instantly brightens up the atmosphere."
Ahead of its 55th anniversary, Arsoa is relaunching its brand with the message "Syn-Life," aiming for "health and happiness for people and the planet."
