The eighth episode of the drama series "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on May 26th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 5.0% for households and 2.8% for individuals.
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the newfound free time she has at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months. The cast includes Kenichi Matsuyama, First Summer Uika, Motoki Nakazawa, Soma Santoki, and Shiro Sano.
Episode 8 was titled "Shrimp and AB".
Minato is suddenly invited to the aquarium by Oedo (Matsuyama) and readily agrees. When Izumi (Yumiko Udo) hears about it, she tries to stir up romance between the two, but Minato remains indecisive. When Minato says that she does nothing but housework on her days off, Izumi advises her that she needs "rehabilitation to play." Meanwhile, Tateishi (Shiro Sano) is passionately preparing to take part in a bowling tournament organized by the Sushi Academy.
Initially reluctant to participate, Minatomo is inspired by Tateishi and begins to engage in rehabilitation through play. And then, he finally learns Tateishi's true identity... and the story unfolds from there.
