The seventh episode of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT," starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, aired on May 24th. The "marriage proposal" that Keijiro, played by Kyohei Honda, delivered to Hitoka (Kasumi Arimura) caused a stir on social media.

Keijiro and the other members of the "Blaze Bulls" attended the wedding of Aoba (Rintaro Hachimura), the older sister of Nakayama (Rintaro Hachimura) and Bando (Keitatsu Koshiyama).
Keijiro turned to Hitoka, who was sitting next to him, and asked, "Do you want to wear a dress?" To which Hitoka replied, "Of course I do," to which he grinned and said, "Well, I guess I'll marry you then!"
Hitoka laughed and tried to dampen the mood by saying that he shouldn't say things like that even as a joke, but Keijiro immediately emphasized that he was "serious." He argued that the only benefit of marrying him would be that he would "love her for life," but Hitoka was taken aback.
Social media was abuzz with comments like, "I'll marry you!" I really want Keijiro to say that to me," "Then I'll marry you, that's awesome! It's really sad that it didn't resonate with Hitochin at all lol," "That's such a powerful line," "This proposal deserves the 'Best Proposal of 2026' award," and "That's a proposal. The drama follows Wu Tetsuya, a genius astrophysicist played by Tsutsumi, as he solves difficult problems facing the underdog team "Blaze Bulls" from his unique perspective. It's a story of redemption where the team, friends, and family reconnect.
