Takashi Yoshimura of the comedy duo "Heisei Nobushikobushi" appeared in a special episode of the variety show "I Tried Selling All My Assets," which was streamed on ABEMA.
The program is a variety show that supports people starting a new life by following celebrities who, of their own volition, sell off all their assets and pursue new dreams. It will be streamed regularly from 11 PM on May 28th, with Yoshimura and Kojima Ruriko serving as MCs.
In the special episode released this time, the staff turn their attention to Yoshimura's McLaren, which costs approximately 43 million yen, but he refuses, saying, "Half of it belongs to the loan company, and even if I could sell it, I wouldn't want to."
When asked about maintenance costs, it was revealed that the monthly expenses amount to approximately 200,000 yen, consisting of 50,000 yen for insurance, 50,000 yen for parking, and 100,000 yen for gasoline, which he fills up "about every other day." With monthly car loan payments of 250,000 to 300,000 yen and rent of approximately 500,000 yen, the shocking fact was revealed that his monthly running costs amount to roughly 1 million yen.
Yoshimura chuckled wryly, saying, "Of course I'm running out of money," and then elicited laughter with a poignant anecdote: "When I go to Ginza, I take the Marunouchi Line. It's more convenient. And it's cheaper."
