It has been announced that Yuki Kuwahara and Masahiko Tanaka will be appearing as voice actors in the TV anime "The Strongest Dregs Prince's Covert Struggle for the Shosetsuka ni Naro on a light novel that is popular on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Narou." Kuwahara will play Christa Lakes Adler, the third princess of the Adrasia Empire, and Tanaka will play Sebastian, the elderly butler who serves Arnold, the "strongest dregs prince" who pretends to be incompetent.
Kuwahara commented on Christa, saying, "My first impression was, 'She's so cute! I want to protect her!' What an adorable girl she is...! Although Christa gives off a quiet impression, she also shows age-appropriate gestures at unexpected moments, which is also charming. She's not just a quiet girl; she actually has a lot of facial expressions and her emotions are expressed honestly, and I tried to portray that contrast while acting."
Tanaka said, "The most appealing aspect of this story is undoubtedly the character of the protagonist, Arnold. He has two faces: he pretends to be incompetent and works behind the scenes as the SS-rank adventurer Silver to help his twin brother, Leonard, ascend to the throne. The unique personalities of the surrounding characters are also one of its charms." Regarding Sebastian, he said, "He is a loyal butler. He could easily come across as a stiff character, but I am trying to portray him as a 'compassionate and understanding person'."
"The Strongest Dried-Up Prince's Covert Struggle for the Throne" is a light novel written by Tamba and illustrated by Yuunagi. Arnold, the seventh prince of the powerful Ardrasia Empire, was known as the "dried-up prince" because his twin brother, Leonard, was so talented that he had sucked everything out of him. However, with the sudden death of the first prince, the struggle for the throne intensifies, and Arnold decides to get serious. The series will be directed by Yuji Yanase, known for works such as "The Man Picked Up by the Gods," and produced by MAHO FILM, known for works such as "The Blue Wolves of Mibu." It will begin airing in July.
