The lineup for Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi, Monday-Friday 1pm), which will air from May 25th to 29th, has been announced. On the 25th, the show will feature entertainer Hirohide Yakumaru; on the 26th, Kabuki actors Shido Nakamura, Haruki Nakamura, and Natsuki Nakamura; on the 27th, entertainer Kayo Noro; on the 28th, actor Yoshiko Mita; and on the 29th, Ryota Miyadate from the popular group "Snow Man".
Yakumaru turned 60 this February. His family surprised him with a celebration on his birthday. His five children, who live in various parts of the world including Hawaii and Europe, secretly returned to Japan. He also revealed his health habits to maintain the physical strength to chase after his grandchildren.
Shido has followed the advice he received from his uncle, Kinnosuke Yorozuya, who told him, "Act with your heart, not your face," and has apparently been praised by Kanzaburo Nakamura for "acting with your heart." His sons, Haruki and Natsuki, also make appearances.
Noro became an idol when she was 22 years old after passing the audition for AKB48. She got married in 2020 and is said to be living a life of mutual support with her husband. Last year, she was able to go on a long-awaited trip with her family, and she said that was the happiest moment of her life.
Ms. Mita is 84 years old. She laughs, saying that she's been playing "grandmother roles" lately, so she came in a glamorous outfit today. She recently prepared a will as part of her end-of-life planning. She reveals that she and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary two years ago and still call each other by their first names.
Miyadate is from Tokyo. It seems she started dancing in the second grade of elementary school at her mother's suggestion. During her 15 years of struggling before her debut, she apparently struggled with the idea of quitting at times. She talks about her family, who always support her.
