The synopsis and still images for episode 6 of the drama series "Galaxy Vote" (Kansai TV/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10 PM), starring actress Haru Kuroki, have been released. The episode will air on May 25th.
With less than a month to go until the official start of campaigning for the Tokyo gubernatorial election, Ryusei (played by Kohei Matsushita) has gotten off to a good start and has secured endorsements from the ruling coalition.
At the grand rally held at the hotel, Takaomi (played by Yajuro Bando), the secretary-general of the Democratic Party, personally took to the stage to encourage Ryusei, emphasizing the party's unwavering support. This was an unusually generous treatment for a young politician like Ryusei, and while reporters like Amemiya (played by Toko Miura) who had gathered were suspicious, no one dared to point it out.
Just as Ryusei was about to leave the venue, Shirakaba Toru (played by Keisuke Watanabe), an exposé YouTuber who has garnered an overwhelming number of views with his political scandal videos, appeared. He provoked Ryusei by calling the unnatural steps leading up to his candidacy a "staged act"...?
Around the same time, "Team Akari," which had welcomed former Nishitama Mayor Hotaru (Shishido Kafka) as a member, also began its full-scale activities. They decided that Akari (Noro Kayoko) would announce her candidacy one week before the official campaign period began, and the members split into two groups to embark on their respective strategies.
Igarashi (Kenji Iwatani) and Hotaru focus on the non-mainstream faction within the Democratic Party, who are dissatisfied with the nomination of Ryusei, and attempt to make contact with them. Meanwhile, Mari (Kuroki), who wants to increase Akari's popularity, believes that the best way to attract public attention is to "go viral on the internet," and asks Tohru, whom she has known about for some time, for his cooperation. Following Tohru's suggestion, they embark on a "forbidden SNS strategy"...
The drama is an election entertainment series in which the protagonist, played by Kuroki, who has been ousted from the political world, recruits a bar owner with no political experience as his campaign strategist and takes on the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
