Former TV Tokyo announcer and talent Kasumi Mori appeared as a studio MC in the third episode of ABEMA's matchmaking reality show "Clockwork Marriage," which aired on May 12th.
This series is a dating reality show that follows three beautiful women who are confident in their romantic abilities but are complete novices when it comes to finding a spouse. They must find a partner within a 30-day time limit before their wedding.
In the studio talk after witnessing the decisions of the beautiful women seeking marriage, the MCs got excited talking about "celebrities who seem like they would make you happy if you married them." When Mori answered "Shibata from Untouchable," the other MCs sharply retorted, "You're playing it safe by naming a comedian," and "We want to see you say something serious."
Then Mori mentioned Fujiki Naoto by name, praising him by saying, "Of course, he's very handsome and cool, and I was watching him the whole time." Recalling an episode from when they worked together, she said, "It was a show with a lot of waiting time. There were a lot of comedians there, but it was Fujiki who kept the show going," and added, "He was asking people about his children and other private matters," expressing her gratitude for Fujiki's thoughtfulness.
When asked about the non-negotiable conditions for a marriage partner, she passionately stated, "Cleanliness. I absolutely cannot stand someone who skips showering," which got the studio audience excited.
