The synopsis and still images for episode 5 of the TV Asahi drama series "Reborn ~The Last Hero~" (Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring actor Issei Takahashi, have been released. The episode will air on May 12th.
The Akari Shopping Street is getting ready for its major event, the Spring Festival. Mitsunori Neo (played by Takahashi in a dual role), who has been reincarnated as Hideto Nomoto (played by Takahashi), had no interest in the festival, but is bewildered when he is appointed chairman of the festival's organizing committee. Moreover, the opinions of the people in the shopping street clash, and no agreement can be reached. There is no sign of progress in the preparations.
Meanwhile, Eri (Mayu Yokota) and Tomono (Ouji Suzuka), Eito's younger sisters, come to him seeking help. With an important negotiation regarding the site for NEOXIS's company building looming, Eri's mistake has caused Mitsumasa Neo, who lives in this era, to go on an overseas business trip, so they ask Eito to act as a body double in the negotiations. Mitsumasa, who has been reincarnated as Eito, sees this as a chance to escape the festival and readily agrees, and goes into the negotiations playing the role of "Mitsumasa Neo."
Having been reincarnated as Eijin, Kosei recalls his successful negotiations from his previous life and believes that simply recreating them will solve the problem. However, Shinomiya Ai (played by Hoshino Mari), the daughter of the president of the real estate company he is negotiating with, makes statements that differ from his memories. Furthermore, he is stumped by Shinomiya's questions, and the negotiations begin to take a turn for the worse.
Meanwhile, Sarasa (Anne Nakamura) suspects Hideto of cheating and follows him. She then stumbles upon a certain scene...
The drama tells the story of a man who is reborn as a different person and given a second chance at life. The script is written by Hiroshi Hashimoto, who has worked on dramas such as "The Grand Family" (TBS), "Job Hunting Family: It'll Surely Work Out," "Adult High School," and "Sky Castle" (all on TV Asahi).
