Actress Momoko Fukuchi stars in the NHK nighttime drama "Radio Star" (NHK General, Monday-Thursday 10:45 PM). In the 23rd episode on May 6th, Kanade (Fukuchi), who apologized in front of Matsumoto (Masahiro Kohmoto) and others, returns to being a radio star.
"Radio Star" is a nonstop entertainment drama set in Noto, depicting how an ordinary citizen becomes a star. The theme song is "A Boat Full of Happiness," written and composed by Yumi Matsutoya and sung by MISIA.
In episode 23, Kanade, having sincerely apologized in front of Matsumoto and the others, returns to being a radio star. Kanade then begins a project to go out into town, gather the voices of local people, and broadcast them on the radio. She listens to the thoughts of many people, including farmers and Suzu pottery artisans, about Noto and their hopes for its reconstruction.
When asked if she had returned to Noto from Matsumoto after the broadcast ended, Kanade quietly began to speak, saying, "From now on, I want to listen to my own heart."
