A collaborative illustration has been released for the latest TV anime in Pierrot's magical girl series, "Magical Sisters Lulu Lily," and Hidekichi Matsumoto's manga "Sabagebu!". The collaboration came about because Ayaka Ohashi, who played Rin Wataya in episode 5 of "Magical Sisters Lulu Lily," played the main character Momoka Sonokawa in the TV anime "Sabagebu!", and Matsumoto drew the illustration for the project.
"Magical Sisters Lulu Lily" depicts the story of two sisters, Fuu Nonoyama, an innocent elementary school student, and Ryuu Nonoyama, a reserved but hardworking middle school student, as they use their magical powers to become idols. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX, ABC TV, TV Aichi, and other channels.
The fact that a new TV anime in Pierrot's magical girl series is being broadcast is also generating buzz, as it's the first time in approximately 28 years since the fifth installment, "Magical Stage Fancy Lala," which aired in 1998.
