Erina Iwata, who left Nippon Television at the end of March, will appear on the variety show "Guruguru Ninety-Nine (Gurunai)" (Nippon Television Network, Thursdays at 8 PM) on April 23rd.
Iwata took on the popular "Bangs Change" project, in which celebrities seriously attempt a makeover. In this project, which aims to break out of the current situation by changing their image by cutting their bangs straight across, Iwata said, "I want to become an announcer who doesn't get lost in the crowd," and cut her hair with the goal of becoming a cute and charming announcer like Mori Kasumi.
Guest Hinako Sakurai praised her transformation, saying she was "incredibly cute," while senior announcer Ryo Ito was left speechless.
The project will also feature Usako Usui from "Nagon," LiLiCo, and Oideyasu Oda.
