A figure of Red King from the tokusatsu drama series "Ultraman," titled "UKVA Red King Red Oni (Frog Tree)" (PLEX), will be sold by lottery on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site "Premium Bandai." The price is 40,000 yen.
Red King joins "ULTRA KAIJU VINYL ART," a project featuring art soft vinyl figures of Ultraman monsters created by soft vinyl artists. The sculpting unit "FrogTree" has boldly reinterpreted Red King, layering it with images of Japanese supernatural beings such as yokai and oni. Characterized by its bulging muscular silhouette, bared fangs, and red coloring that evokes anger and burning heat, the color scheme has been named "Red Oni" (Red Demon). Standing approximately 28 cm tall.
The lottery will be open on Premium Bandai until 11 PM on May 17th, and winners will be announced in mid-May. Shipping is scheduled for July.
