It has been revealed that actor Yusuke Iseya will be appearing in the DMM TV original drama "Gedou no Uta SEASON2" (6 episodes in total, released every Thursday). Starting with episode 3, which began streaming on April 16th, he will play Kunimatsu, a mysterious character who holds the key to the story.
The drama is based on the manga "Zenaku no Kuzu" and its sequel "Gedou no Uta" by Daisuke Watanabe, which were serialized in "Young King" (Shonen Gahosha) from 2014 to 2023. Takeshi Kamonome (nicknamed Kamo, played by Yosuke Kubozuka) and Toranobu Shimada (nicknamed Tora, played by Kazuya Kamenashi), who run a run-down used bookstore, are actually "revenge agents" who punish evil people who cannot be brought to justice by law. The two stand on behalf of the victims and confront the outlaws.
Kunimatsu, played by Iseya, is a mysterious character known as a "same-personality individual," with much of his background and motives remaining unknown. A still image of him with a defiant expression has also been released, hinting that he will be a new "threat" standing in the way of Kamo and Tora.
It was also announced that Yosuke Omizu of the comedy duo "Rubber Girl" will be joining the cast. He will play Mogi, a customer at the maid café where Chika Konno (Ano-san) works.
