Talent Kazuyo Matsui made a live appearance on April 12th on ABEMA's 10th anniversary special program "30-Hour Limit Break Festival," in a segment called "Women Who Can't Stay Silent: A Live Confession of Their Turbulent Live Live Stories."
This was Matsui's first live television appearance in approximately eight years. Currently based in New York City, the program featured the first-ever media reveal of her newly renovated "new home," where she lives during her stays in Japan.
At the entrance hangs a gold leaf nameplate that he designed himself, and inside the house, a space designed according to feng shui principles unfolds. His home, which he built with the theme of "how to make money," is filled with meticulous attention to detail, such as gold furnishings that are said to attract wealth and an octagonal Persian rug doormat that cost about 4.5 million yen.
The bedroom, which also serves as a closet and spans approximately 30 tatami mats, is furnished with custom-made furniture costing around 12 million yen, and is designed so that everything can be seen at a glance, based on the philosophy that "time is money." At one point, Matsui shared her unique philosophy of success, saying, "In life, if you can't find something right away, you'll lose out."
She also revealed that she purchased her home 25 years ago for approximately 450 million yen in cash. Matsui prefaced her remarks by saying, "I've been divorced twice, so you know," and continued, "When a house is jointly owned, it can cause trouble when you get divorced, such as how to divide the house or what to do about the loan. But in my case, I paid for the land and construction costs all in cash, so there were no disputes at all, and I just had to get them to leave quickly."
