The first episode of the drama series "Tonight, in the Secret Kitchen" (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10 PM), starring actress Haruka Kinami and co-starring Mahiro Takasugi, aired on April Getsuku, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 3.9% for households and 2.1% for individuals.
The drama tells the story of Ayumi Tsubokura (played by Kinami), a housewife whose heart has been worn down by her emotionally abusive husband, and how she unexpectedly meets Kei (played by Takasugi), an Italian chef, and how they grow closer.
The subtitle for the first episode was "The encounter between a lonely housewife and a chef with a secret."
