It has been announced that " Kaijin Fugeki ," the latest work by manga artist Ito Ogure , known for works such as "Air Gear" and "Tenjho Tenge," will be featured at the e-sports event "Shishiro Cup -Offline-" hosted by Shishiro Botan, a VTuber belonging to the popular VTuber group "Hololive." The event will be held at Yokohama BUNTAI (Naka-ku, Yokohama) on April 11th and 12th. This will be the first time the event is held "offline."
To commemorate the "Shishiro Cup -Offline-" event, an illustration drawn by Ohgure featuring Shishiro Botan and Juri from "Street Fighter 6" has been released. The illustration depicts the two facing each other, creating a sense of immediacy as if a battle is about to begin. The illustration is scheduled to be displayed at the venue.
A special booth for " The Kaijin Fugeki" will be set up inside the venue, displaying reproductions of original artwork and posters. An SNS campaign will also be held at the special booth. If you meet the conditions on the spot, you can participate in a gacha (capsule toy) to win original goods, limited to the first 105 people each day on April 11th and 12th.
"Kaijin Fugeki" is a fantasy epic by Ohgure. Set in a world where "Night," once called a natural disaster, strikes, the story follows boys and girls who dance relentlessly in order to borrow the power of the gods, to appease Night's wrath, and to save this world. It has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since May 2024.
