The ninth episode of the drama series "Mirai no Musuko" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Mirai Shida, aired on March 17th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 4.9% for households and 2.9% for individuals.
The drama is based on the popular manga "Mirai no Musuko ~A Son Fell Upon Me, a Woman Who Has Never Had a Boyfriend for 10 Years!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi. It depicts a woman who is half-hearted about love, work, and dreams, suddenly becoming a mother. Through raising a child, she learns what it means to live with someone and support each other, and how she rediscovers her life. This marks Shida's first role as a mother in 20 years, since the 2006 drama "14-sai no Haha" (Nippon Television).
Episode 9 was broadcast under the title "The Final Chapter! The Moment of Farewell for Parent and Child Reunited Across Time."
The story enters its final chapter. The time has finally come for the parent and child who have traveled through time to say goodbye. "Ma-kun" and the others finally make their move. What answer will the future give? Will Sota be able to return to the future safely...?
