NHK's morning information program " Asaichi " (NHK General, Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM), Caster by the comedy duo "Hakata Hanamaru-Daikichi" and announcer Naoko Suzuki, will air a shortened version on March 16th, titled "Will school clubs be cancelled? What will be the burden on parents of local clubs? Transportation, costs, and duties." The program will run until 8:55 AM.
On the same day, we'll consider what's needed to protect children's activities, including whether school club activities will be scaled down from next year. What will happen to the burden on parents in community clubs...? What about transportation, costs, and duty responsibilities? We'll introduce the case of Nagano City, which was the first in the country to "abolish" school clubs and completely transition to community clubs.
Children's community sports often have many mysterious rules that are actually burdensome, such as serving tea and providing managerial support. This program introduces a team that has revitalized itself and become popular by drastically reducing unnecessary parental roles. The guests are actress Noriko Nakagoshi and Reo Tsuchiya, the vocalist of the a cappella group "RAG FAIR" and a television personality.
