The seventh episode of the popular TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, aired on March 8th, and the person who saved Machi (Ueno Suzuka) became a hot topic among viewers.
◇The following contains spoilers
Hayase (Suzuki), disguised as Gido (Suzuki), hears from Makita (Ito Hideaki) that a raid is going to be conducted at the Clearance Law Firm, and immediately calls Machi at the firm.
Machi and the others try to escape quickly, but their friend Rikka (Akari Akase) slips on the emergency stairs and loses her life. Machi is devastated when Hayase visits her at the detention center and tells her of Rikka's death.
Then, lawyer Kaieda (played by Yoshi Sakou) appeared, singing "Anpanman Exercise," and said, "If you ever lose confidence and feel like giving up, just remember the good things, only the good things," and "The hero of justice is here to help!"
It was thought that Kaieda had embezzled money from Goroku (Kitamura Yukiya) and been "eliminated," but on social media, people have expressed their surprise, saying things like, "I was even surprised when Kaieda-sensei appeared singing Anpanman," "Why did he appear to sing the Anpanman song?", "Personally, the fact that Kaieda-sensei is still alive is the biggest shock," "I can't help but wonder if the lyrics are a foreshadowing," "You shouldn't sing Anpanman in a place like this!!!!!!" and "You shouldn't be singing Anpanman!"
