The tenth episode of the new TV anime adaptation of Motohide Shinzawa's gag manga "High School! Kimengumi," which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in the 1980s, will air on Fuji TV's anime block "Noitamina" at 11:30 PM on March 13th. It was supposed to be a fun trip...but Rei and the other leaders of each group missed the bus and were left behind. After a terrible ordeal, the leaders finally made it to their accommodation, but the dinner they had been looking forward to had already been eaten up.

The new anime will be directed by Ryo Seki, known for films such as "Blank Canvas: My So-Called Artist's Journey" and "Beethoven Fabrication," and produced by Animation Studio Seven. Tomokazu Seki Ichido, Shunsuke Takeuchi will voice Go Hiyoshi, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will voice Chiaki Kobayashi Kikunosuke Toya Totani will voice Dai Monoboshi.

The original manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1980 as "3-nen Kimengumi," and was retitled "High School! Kimengumi" in 1982 as the characters advanced to higher grades. It is a school comedy featuring the Kimengumi, a group of five famous students who attend a middle school: Ichido Rei, Hiyoshi Go, Dese Kiyoshi, Ooma Jin, and Monoboshi Dai, along with Kawase Yui and Uru Chie.
