Mone Mone Kamishiraishi celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut as a singer this year, will hold an additional performance of her concert "Mone Kamishiraishi "yattokosa" 26 《texte》" at Tokyo Garden Theater (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on April 11th. It has been announced that the concert will be broadcasted and streamed live exclusively on WOWOW.
On February 25th, Kamishiraishi will release her commemorative album "texte" to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut as a singer. This album, like her debut mini-album "chouchou," was produced with the concept of "singing songs related to video works," and is a work that returns Kamishiraishi to her "roots" as a singer. The album also features different versions of the songs included in "chouchou," as well as songs from films and dramas that are important to Kamishiraishi herself, making it a work that gives the impression of the breadth of her talent as a singer.
Kamishiraishi will be performing her concert "Mone Kamishiraishi "yattokosa" 26 《texte》" in Kobe and Yokohama from March 21st to 29th to promote her newly released album, but all shows sold out immediately, resulting in an additional performance at Tokyo Garden Theater.
WOWOW will broadcast and stream the additional performance live on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 6:00 PM on April 11th under the title "Live Broadcast! Mone Kamishiraishi "Mone Kamishiraishi "yattokosa" 26 《texte》"
It has also been decided that all of the "texte" related films will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW on March 20th. Before each film, Kamishiraishi herself will also be broadcasting and streaming a video commenting on the film. The lineup is as follows:
March 20th, 9:30 AM - "Swallowtail": A 1996 film directed by Shunji Iwai that garnered attention in the Japanese film industry. This is a ensemble drama set in the stateless Asian city of Yen Town. The theme song by YEN TOWN BAND was also a hit. ▽Same day, 12:04 PM - "Coda": A moving film, subtitled version, which won three awards at the 94th Academy Awards, including Best Picture. 4:15 PM on the same day - "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006)": Directed by Hosoda Mamoru and based on the novel of the same name by Tsutsui Yasutaka. An exhilarating coming-of-age film about a girl who suddenly gains the ability to travel through time and return to the past, "time leap," literally running through the streets of an early summer city. 6:00 PM on the same day - "Your Name.": A smash-hit feature-length animated film pioneered by director Makoto Shinkai, who would later go on to make the huge hit "Weathering With You." A story of love and miracles between a boy and girl who "switch bodies" in their dreams.
In addition, from 8:00 pm on March 20th, a Mone Kamishiraishi titled "Mone Kamishiraishi Special Live 105" will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand, featuring footage of the concert that was held at Tsukimiru Kimi Omoifu (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on October 5th, 2025, the 10th anniversary of her debut.
