The eighth episode of the drama series "DREAM STAGE" (TBS, Friday 10pm), starring actor Tomoya Nakamura, was broadcast on March 6th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 2.6% for households and 1.5% for individuals.
"DREAM STAGE" is a K-POP version of a sports drama that follows Jun Azuma (played by Nakamura), a producer who was once expelled from the industry for causing trouble, and seven dropout trainees from a small Korean entertainment agency who form a boy band called "NAZE" and pursue their dreams together, transcending generations and nationalities.
Episode 8 was broadcast under the title "A revealed past destroys friends... a parting due to love."
Word of Azuma's dark past spreads. Members leave the band, and disbandment becomes a reality. Even at NAZE's greatest crisis, Azuma somehow pushes them away, saying, "Don't ever show your face in front of me again!" What is the true meaning behind his decision to "break away"?
