It was revealed on March 9th that the average weekly viewership rating ( Asadora) for the 22nd week of the NHK morning drama series "Bakebake " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), starring Akari Takaishi , was 14.7% (calculated from Video Research data, Kanto region) ( Getsuku).
"Bakebake" is the 113th Asadora . Based on the lives of Lafcadio Hearn Yakumo Koizumi and his wife Setsu, it is a story of a married couple, where the heroine, who loves ghost stories, lives an ordinary life with her foreign husband. Takashi plays the main character, Toki Matsuno, and Tommy Bastow plays Toki's husband, Lefkada Heaven.
In week 22, Toki (Takaishi) meets Ran (Misako Renbutsu) in Kumamoto and they become close friends. Toki grows fond of Ran, who, like Heaven (Tommy Bastow), has a Western husband, Robert (Joe Tremaine), and can speak English.
One day, Heaven receives a letter from America. The sender is Eliza (Charlotte Kate Fox). Heaven is intrigued by the request to leave Japan, travel the world, and write about her experiences in various places. Meanwhile, Toki learns that she has been blessed with a "new life."
Encouraged by Ran, Heaven decides to leave Toki in Japan and travel to the Philippines. Toki, too, decides to stay in Japan with her unborn child and family to support Heaven's writing career, but...
Six months passed in the blink of an eye, and Toki's due date arrived. With Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki), Kuma (Touha Natsume), and the midwife (Fukiko Hara) watching over her, Toki finally gave birth to Heaven's child and became a mother. As the entire Matsuno family doted on the baby, Masaki (Yukito Hidaka) noticed "something." It was about the family register, and Toki and Heaven decided to register their marriage and officially become a family...and so the story unfolded.
