The music talk show "Hamasuka Broadcasting Club" (TV Asahi, Monday midnight 12:15am, broadcast once every three weeks) by Hama Okamoto and Asuka Saito of "OKAMOTO'S" aired on March 2nd, and it was announced that the next episode on the 23rd will be the final episode. The show, which began in October 2021 with the unique duo of Hama and Saito and gained popularity, will come to an end after about four and a half years.
At the end of the late-night broadcast on the 2nd, an announcement was made saying, "We have an announcement from the two of them," and suddenly, footage of the final episode was shown. Hama, who received a bouquet of flowers from the staff, announced, "We've just finished filming the final episode of 'Hamasuka Broadcasting Club'! It's over. It's sudden, isn't it? It's really over."
Looking back on the recording, Hama said, "I think we were able to film a good final episode," and Saito smiled and said, "It was fun!" Saito also said, "I think it's something that will allow everyone who watches it to look back on their own lives."
The final episode on the 23rd will be titled "Graduation Ceremony Special." Program X (@hamasuka_bd) announced, "We will bring you the culmination of four and a half years of work."
"Hamasuka Broadcasting Club" began airing in October 2021. It was originally broadcast at 2:16 a.m. on Thursdays, but after winning the grand prize in the third viewer voting contest "Barabara Grand Election," it was promoted to 12:15 a.m. on Mondays from April 2022. From October 2025, the broadcast time was extended by 30 minutes to become a 60-minute program, and it was broadcast every three weeks.
