Hirako Yuki and Sakai Kenta of the comedy duo "Arco & Peace" will make their first appearance on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on February 25th.
Hirako, who was a senior at the same agency, and Sakai, a junior at the same time, met and formed a comedy duo after they disbanded at the same time. Hirako says he was inspired to become a comedian by Atsumi Kiyoshi, whose parents loved him, and asks Kuroyanagi, who was close friends with Atsumi, a question. Sakai reveals that he became a comedian after being invited by a friend, and that he had always loved comedy.
During their early days as a duo, they worked part-time jobs, and Hirako considered breaking up for the sake of his family, but his wife used up their savings to support the family. Now they are known as a doting husband and wife duo, and as fathers of two children, they spend their days balancing work and raising their children. After 20 years as a duo, what are their dreams for the future?
