Hokuto Matsumura of the popular group "SixTONES" has been appointed as the brand ambassador for damaged hair care brand "anummy," and attended the announcement event held in Tokyo on February 17th. He revealed that actor Yo Oizumi had given him a bowling ball and shoes as a gift.
When asked what he would like to improve in the future, Matsumura replied, "My bowling score." He said, "Oizumi Yo, who I'm very fond of, loves bowling and is very good at it. He's always been fond of me, and we've gone out to eat and gone shopping together, but now he's started inviting me to go bowling."
He continued, "Recently, Oizumi-san finally gave me my own bowling ball and shoes. So now, rather than bowling for fun, I'm more into bowling to steadily improve my score."
Recalling the moment he received the gift, he said, "After we went bowling a few times (with Oizumi), he said, 'I think it's about time you got your own ball and shoes,' and when I said, 'That's true,' he said, 'I'll give them to you,' and made a ball and shoes for you on the spot." He added, "They're different from the house balls you can rent. The way they're made, and the position of the finger holes, are different, and it's a different sport to begin with, so that's the big difference. A new kind of bowling has begun."
