The NHK morning drama series "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Takaishi Akari, will enter its 20th week, "Where are you, where are you?", on February 16th. The setting of the story will move to Kumamoto. Here, as a preview, we will introduce the bear played by Natsume Touha.
Kuma is the Matsuno family's maid. She's a hard worker who singlehandedly supports Toki (played by Takaishi) and her family's life in Kumamoto... but sometimes she works too hard.
This is Natsume's first appearance in a morning drama as he plays Kuma.
"Bakeke" is the 113th morning drama. Based on the story of Lafcadio Hearn and his wife Setsu, the story follows a couple, with a heroine who loves ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives together with their foreign husband.
In week 20, Toki and Heaven (Tommy Bastow) began their new life in Kumamoto.
The Matsuno family is now a large household, with Tsukasasuke (Takashi Okabe), Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki), Takeru (Rairin Sugita) and Masaki (Yukito Hidaka), who came from Matsue as students, Nagami (Nobumitsu Onishi), the rickshaw driver, and a new maid named Kuma joining the family. Everyone lives peacefully, but being too peaceful is starting to become a problem.
Meanwhile, the situation suddenly changes when something important to the Matsuno family goes missing.
