It has been announced that the manga "Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san," currently being serialized on Shogakukan's web manga site "Manga One," will be adapted into a TV anime in the summer of 2026. It will be produced by Wave's anime label "Deregula."
The story is based on a manga written by Eroki and illustrated by Konoshiro Shinko. It tells the story of Shizuka, an ordinary high school girl who can only "see ghosts." However, she uses her unique ability to attract ghosts to work as an assistant to the famous psychic Kamui. Kamui, who boasts overwhelming spiritual powers, exorcises spirits in an "unprecedented way."
