The synopsis and stills from episode 6 of Fuji TV's "Monday 9pm" drama "Yandoku!" starring Kanna Hashimoto, which will be broadcast on February 16th, have been released.
Takanori Kitaoka (Tetta Sugimoto) is transferred to Odaiba Bayside Medical Center. Takanori, who suffers from a cavernous hemangioma near the hippocampus, which controls memory, is suffering from progressive memory loss. On his first day at the hospital, he visits the hospital cafeteria. Ushiogorou (Kotaro Yoshida), who is preparing to open the cafeteria, exclaims in surprise when he sees Takanori suddenly appear.
When Koonami (Hashimoto) comes looking for Takanori, Ushiogorou excitedly introduces him as "my destined rival!" However, Takanori has no recollection of Ushiogorou. Takanori's wife, Mariko (Sakurai Junko), says that his memory has been getting worse for the past six months, and that for the past month he has been forgetting even old memories.
Hearing that surgery would save Takanori's life but that he might lose his memory, Chogoro visits Takanori in his hospital room and begins to recount his memories from high school. The two were both gang leaders at their respective high schools, and they often fought one-on-one over the local Madonna. Takanori tries desperately to remember those days, but his memories do not return.
Unable to give up, Shiogorou goes to Takanori in a delinquent style with a leather jacket and a pompadour hairstyle. However, Takanori is shocked, and Koonami and Sara (Miyase Ryuya) hurriedly try to take Shiogorou out of the hospital room.
Suddenly, Takanori calls out to Sara, "Masaya?" He has mistaken Sara, who is the same age as him, for his son, who died 10 years ago. Chogorou, desperate to revive Takanori's memories, begs Sara to "pretend to be his son," but Sara refuses his offer...
Written by Nemoto Nonji, this hilarious medical entertainment follows Hashimoto as Tagami Kotoha, a former delinquent girl who, after her best friend dies in an accident, studies hard to become a neurosurgeon and brings a breath of fresh air to the medical field.
