The film "Kyojo Reunion" (directed by Nakae Isao), starring actor Kimura Takuya and currently streaming on Netflix, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot from 8pm on February 14th. The film is the first part of a two-part series produced as a culmination of the "Kyojo" series, and has been available on Netflix since January 1st. "Kyoujou" follows the story of Kazama Kimichika (Kimura), a strict instructor with graying hair and a prosthetic right eye, who uses his sharp eyes to see through the various doubts, conflicts, and secrets that arise among the students at the police academy, sifting through them and forcing them to submit their withdrawal forms one after another. The first series, "Kyoujou," aired in 2020 as Fuji TV's New Year's special, followed by the second series, "Kyoujou II," in 2021, and "Kazama Kimichika - Kyojou 0," a story about Kazama's past, in the same network's "Monday 9" slot in 2023.
"Kyojo Reunion" is the story of the 205th class of students at the police academy. In addition, graduates who are active in their respective fields reunite under Kazama to track down the whereabouts of Tozaki, Kazama's arch enemy.
Tsuna Hironaga plays Kadota Harumitsu, whose hobby is photography and who is entrusted by Instructor Kazama with the task of recording the class in photographs; Saito Kyoko plays Hoshitani Maimi, an honor student who boasts top grades but feels pressured by her peers to catch up; and Kura Yuki plays Ujihara Kiyozumi, a calm student who always takes notes.
Sato Shori (timelesz) will play Yashiro Kippei, whose father is a police officer and who himself received a police commendation certificate before enrolling, making him the target of the instructors; Igari Soya (KEY TO LIT) will play Watanabe Ryu, who is good at drawing and draws scenes from class and portraits of his classmates; and Nakamura Aoi will play Wakatsuki Hideto, who is confident in his physical strength and is skilled at using judo to subdue people.
Additionally, 198th class graduates Yuko Oshima, Haruna Kawaguchi, Shohei Miura, and Ryosuke Mikata from "Kyojo" broadcast in 2020 will appear. 200th class graduates Gaku Hamada, Haruka Fukuhara, and Ren Meguro from "Kyojo II" broadcast in 2021, as well as Kazama Dojo students Eiji Akaso, Mai Shiraishi, Shota Sometani, and Kenji Sakaguchi, who played Yanagisawa, the "secret buddy" who pursues Tozaki alongside Kazama, will also appear.
