The visuals for the Scandal arc of the TV anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), have been released. The Scandal arc depicts the fate of Arima Kana, who is framed by her senior actress Azami Mako and photographed by a weekly magazine.
"Oshi no Ko" is a popular manga written by Akasaka Aka, who also wrote "Kaguya-sama: Love is War," and illustrated by Yokoyari Mengo, who also wrote "Scum's Wish." It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. Ruby, the younger twin sister, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while Aqua, the older brother, vows to seek revenge and find the culprit behind Ai's murder.
The third season of the TV anime is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
