The TBS drama "Mirai no Musuko" (Tuesdays at 10pm) starring actress Shida Mirai has released a synopsis and stills for episode 5, which will air on February 10th.
Mirai (Shida) realizes that one choice she makes now may mean that Souta (Amano Yu) will never be born.
At that time, she hears that she is close to figuring out how to charge Souta's smartwatch "Luna," which she had left with her apartment neighbor Kei (Hagiwara Mamoru). Mirai thinks that this may hold a clue to "Ma-kun," and she holds out hope for Luna's revival.
Meanwhile, Yuta (Nozomu Kotaki) is concerned that Souta is looking for someone called "Ma-kun" and has asked him, "Is Teacher Ma-kun?"
One day, Mirai's mother, Naomi (Kamino Misuzu), visits the apartment. She has learned that Mirai will be playing the lead role in the next performance. Mirai explains that Souta is "her child from the future," but Naomi doesn't believe her right away.
However, Naomi's nosy spirit is aroused and she says she will "take care of Souta," and ends up staying at the apartment in the future...
Based on the popular manga "My Future Son: A Son Came Down From Heaven!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi, the story follows a woman who is half-hearted in love, work, and dreams, and suddenly becomes a mother. Through raising a child, she learns about living with others and supporting each other, and begins to live life anew.
