The second episode of the 23rd installment of the popular anime series "PreCure," "Detective PreCure!", "A Genius Appears! His Name is Jet Senpai!", will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi at 8:30 a.m. on February 8th.
Shocked to find that she has no home in the world of 1999, Anna is taken by Mikuru to the Cure Detective Agency, where she is told that a "senpai of the great detective PreCure" resides. A self-proclaimed genius doctor, a 222-year-old fairy named Jet, appears before the two and tells them that Pochitan, a "space-time fairy," has used up all her powers and turned into a baby, which is the cause of the time slip. If Anna and Mikuru collect many of the Makoto Jewels they have obtained, Pochitan may be able to return to her original form, and Anna may be able to return to her own world.
The next day after Anna and Pochitan spend the night at the detective agency, Mikuru comes again, but as they pass each other, Pochitan pulls Anna out the door. Jet follows Mikuru and they end up at a patisserie, where writer Kurusu Eliza is in trouble after losing her favorite glass pen.
The motif of "Detective PreCure!" is "detectives," and the theme is "see, feel, think, and find the 'true' answer for yourself." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in trouble," and are guided by a mysterious power to travel back in time from the present day of 2027 to 1999. The story transcends time and depicts the Pretty Cure's new encounters, friendships, and growth.
The cast includes Senga Hikari as Cure Answer/Akechi Anna, Hondo Kaede as Cure Mystic/Kobayashi Mikuru, and Toyama Nao as Cure Arcana Shadow/Mori Aruru. The mysterious Pretty Cure Cure Eclair will also make an appearance.
