A trailer has been released for the theatrical preview of the TV anime series "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE," based on the popular game "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE," titled "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE -OVERTURE-." The preview will be screened at Theater Shinjuku (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) and Theater Umeda (Kita Ward, Osaka City) from March 6th, ahead of the TV broadcast. A visual of Ame-chan's anime has also been revealed for the first time.
"NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE" is a multi-ending adventure game that follows the 30 days of a girl with a strong desire for approval as she strives to become the best streamer, and her supporter, "Pi." Released on Steam in January 2022, the game has recorded a total of approximately 3 million downloads. The game is gaining popularity, with related songs being played over 400 million times.
The anime will be produced by Yostar Pictures, the studio behind "Arknights" and "Blue Archive." It will begin airing in April.
