Mirai, who has been selected to play the lead role in the theater company's next performance, begins looking for a nursery school for Souta. She goes to an interview at a nursery school that just so happens to have a spot open, but is asked to submit documents such as identification.
While the teacher was confused because he didn't have the documents, Souta said, "I have it!" and handed the coin to the teacher. It was a 500 yen coin with "Reiwa 17th Year" written on it, and Souta smiled and said, "Here it is. Here's the proof. I'm from the future."
That night, Souta was told by the future not to show the "evidence" to anyone. When he innocently asked "Why?", the future explained that if it was discovered, they might not be able to live together. Souta then cried out sadly, "No way!" Immediately after, Souta suddenly changed and ran around the room happily.
On social media, he became a hot topic, with comments such as, "Future Son Souta is a great actor. He's too cute," "Future Son Souta is so cute," "He casually reveals he's from the future lol," "He's so innocent and cute," and "Amano Yu is a genius, isn't he...? His face, voice, innocent cuteness, and speaking style are all 100% perfect, 50 billion points."
The drama is based on the popular manga "My Future Son: A Son Came Down From Heaven After 10 Years of Singles!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi. Mirai, who is unsatisfied in love, work and dreams, suddenly becomes a mother. Through raising a child, she learns about the importance of living and supporting others, and starts living again. This is Shida's first role as a mother in 20 years, since the 2006 drama "14-Year-Old Mother" (NTV).
