On the 14th, a TV spot for the second chapter of the popular Gundam anime series, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash - The Witch of Circe," (directed by Murase Shukou), was released on YouTube. The video features the Nu Gundam, familiar from the 1988 film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack." It depicts the Gundam attacking with its head vulcan cannon, just like the trailer for "Char's Counterattack."
On the 15th, to commemorate Sunrise's 50th anniversary, it was announced that a completely new work, "Armored Trooper Votoms: Grey Witch (Hexe)," the first in about 15 years for the popular anime series "Armored Trooper Votoms, " will be produced and released in 2026. Directed by Mamoru Oshii, known for works such as "Ghost in the Shell" and "Mobile Police Patlabor," the film will be produced by Sunrise, with Production IG providing production support. The first visuals and footage have also been released.

On the 16th, it was announced that the TV anime "Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You," based on Jinushi's manga currently being serialized in "Big Gangan" (Square Enix), will be broadcast nationwide on 28 TBS affiliates every Thursday at 11:56 pm starting in July.
