It has been announced that Arisaka Kohana will be playing the heroine Agi in "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" (TV Asahi, Sundays at 9:30 AM), the first installment of the new special effects series "PROJECT RED," which will begin airing on February 15th. This was revealed during the "Super Production Announcement" streamed on YouTube on January 18th.
Arisaka is 17 years old, born on May 25, 2008. She has been active as a child model since she was little, and is currently an exclusive model for the women's fashion magazine "ViVi" (Kodansha) and an "imadoki girl" on Fuji TV's morning information program "Mezamashi TV." She is affiliated with the talent agency "Amuse."
Agi is an autonomous AI and all-purpose assistant in the Data Section of the Earth Branch of the Galactic Federation Police, to which the main character, Gavan Infinity/Doki Reiji (played by Kohei Nagata), belongs. Created by Colonel Date Daisuke (played by Arihiro Matsunaga), the head of the Data Section, Agi assists Reiji in his investigations as needed. While possessing a physical form like a human, Agi can transform its body into particles and infiltrate anywhere. It can also transform the particles that make up its body and freely change its costume.
Arisaka commented, "The other day, I saw the footage before it was completed, and Reiji's action scenes were so cool that there were cheers (in the dressing room). They were very powerful, and the "vapor deposition" scene was also very memorable."
"Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is a completely new "Gavan" that has been reconstructed using the latest visual and production techniques while retaining the visuals and space-based sci-fi elements of "Space Sheriff Gavan," which aired from 1982 to 1983. The story unfolds in a worldview based on the "multiverse theory," in which there is not just one universe, but another Earth that is identical to Earth, and Reiji solves cases set in a variety of dimensions.
