The merchandise lineup for the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 10th Anniversary Event - Tekka Festival," an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans," has been announced.
The event pamphlet will feature original photos of Kengo Kawanishi, who voices Kengo Kawanishi Augus, and Yoshimasa Hosoya, who voices Orga Itsuka, interviews with the 10 cast members appearing at the event, and a draft of the event key visual design by Yu Ito. Merchandise featuring original illustrations drawn for the event by character designer Michinori Chiba, as well as merchandise in collaboration with illustrator Kumamine and Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, will also be on sale.
Kumamine commented, "I watched the broadcast with mixed feelings of joy and sorrow (thinking that if only Biscuit had been there, I wouldn't have made such a choice). I was asked to draw not only deformed characters, but also cats and Mujina, so I drew them cosplaying as members of the Tekkadan and other characters. I would be happy if I could be just one flower that adds to the celebration. Congratulations on the 10th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans!"
The event will be held on February 15th at Tachikawa Stage Garden (Tachikawa, Tokyo). A food truck for the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans x Animate Cafe Traveling Edition" will also be set up.
"Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" is set approximately 300 years after the end of the great war known as the Calamity War, and depicts the battles of Mikazuki, Augus, and the Tekkadan. The first season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, and the second season aired from October 2016 to April 2017.
A special edition of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt," entitled "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt -The Trail of a Little Challenger-," was released in theaters on October 31, 2026, which also attracted a lot of attention. "Urdr Hunt" is an anime distributed on the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" smartphone app "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G." A new short film from "Iron-Blooded Orphans," "The Wedge Between Curtains," was screened at the same time.
