The NHK Taiga drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）", starring actor Taiga Nakano (NHK General, Sundays at 8 PM, etc.), will air its 27th episode on July 12th, subtitled "The Honnoji Incident." The synopsis and still images from the episode have been released.

"BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）" is the 65th Taiga drama. With Toyotomi Hidenaga (Koichiro) as the protagonist, it depicts the miraculous feat of unifying Japan together with his older brother Hideyoshi (Tokichiro) through their strong bond, a success story of dreams and hopes.
The script is written by Hiroyuki Yatsu, known for his work on "Hanzawa Naoki" (TBS) and the Asadora drama series "Ochoyan." The music is composed by Hideaki Kimura, and the narration is provided by actress Sakura Ando.
In episode 27, Nobunaga (Shun Oguri Oguri), who had driven the Takeda clan of Kai, once considered the strongest in the Sengoku period, to ruin, orders Nobutaka (Kosei Yuki) to attack Shikoku.
Meanwhile, Hideyoshi (Sosuke Ikematsu), in charge of the attack on the Mori clan in Bitchu, asks Koichiro (Nakano) to bring Nobunaga to him for the final stages of the battle. Koichiro travels a long distance to Azuchi. At the same time, Nobunaga is entertaining Ieyasu (Kohei Matsushita) at Azuchi Castle, but it is discovered that the food has been poisoned. Nobunaga becomes enraged when he suspects that Mitsuhide (Jun Kaname), who is in charge of the reception, is protecting the mastermind.
