TV Tokyo's popular information variety show "Appear! Ad Street Heaven" (Saturday 9pm) will feature the area around Yutenji Station (Meguro Ward, Tokyo) on the Tokyu Toyoko Line on its January 17th broadcast.
The area around Yutenji Station is home to cafes and second-hand clothing stores renovated from old Showa-era houses, as well as a shopping street with a nostalgic atmosphere. It is also known as an air pocket on the Toyoko Line, and is becoming popular among young people.
The program features a huge hit among young people! It features the sign-less bar "Donabe Meshi," a handmade sausage and ham workshop run by classmates, a late-night "second-hand clothing store" that gives you a discount if you drink alcohol, a famous "yakiniku" restaurant that sparked the "skirt steak" boom, and "Yu-maga," a magazine where children interview and introduce the city.
In addition, we will introduce a local Chinese restaurant that is popular among young people! The famous shrimp fried rice and curry rice restaurant is a paradise for train fans, and the birthplace of lemon sour! A hugely popular "motsuyaki" restaurant and apple tarts from a famous Western confectionery shop will also be featured.
The guests are rakugo performer Yanagiya Kochiraku and model and actor Hotta Akane.
